It seems that my etsy shop is busiest around certain holidays...obvious ones like Arbor Day and MLK Day (wink), but definitely Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, Easter....the list goes on and on.
For this year's Valentine's Line, I've worked on a few new designs and will add them to the etsy lineup.
Red Volkswagen Bug with text "LOVE BUG" is such a hit that I've sold about half a dozen before they even hit the etsy shop! Beep beep
Also, really, what proud Mama doesn't
look at her little guy and think he's going to make some lucky girl very happy someday (someday way way down the line)?
A few weeks ago, I got two different colored shirts for my boys. I'm one of those twinmamas who dresses the twins alike most of the time (my rationale being it's easier for me and besides, they are
definitely not identical and have different-colored hair, so it's obvious who is who), so I was a little thrown off by the two different colors of the shirt. So I set about coming up with a pair of stencils to put on the two shirts for my boys.
In the end, I decided on milk and cookies, and I really like how they turned out!
One of my fellow twinmamas, Casey, is throwing a Hawaiian Princess birthday party for her girls. So I've matched the party colors and stencilled some hibiscus blossoms onto shirts for the birthday girls. Aloha!
Michelle saw the gingerbread family design and wondered...could I try a snowfamily design for her? I gave it a shot and think it turned out pretty nicely.Jamie also wanted one. I think I'm getting the hang of it!
We're pretty big into Harry Potter here, so I had to do a golden snitch for myself.
Amy's cousin is a huge fan of Ron Weasley, so we did a special, sparkly stencil for her. I used a Potter-esque font called LUMOS.
I've done a third Harry Potter related stencil, for my sister, but it's not entirely family-friendly, so I probably ought not to share it here.
Sonya is expecting her third daughter's arrival any day now...she asked me to put together shirts for her soon-to-be three daughters to wear for photos! I love this idea and look forward to seeing the shirts in action.
We're already gearing up for the holidays over here. As part of that, here's the first in our 2007 holiday line: the gingerbread family. This is customizable (got two boys in your family? three girls? You get the picture).
